Description

North Lodge with an attached screen wall is a lodge for Bramham Park, dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of magnesian limestone ashlar and features a slate roof. The building is a cubic single-cell structure of two storeys topped with a pyramidal roof, and it has a short single-storey service wing on the right-hand (north) side.

The lodge is designed in a classical style with prominent detailing. It has Gibbs style vermiculated quoins that end in a broad band at the first floor. The entrance facing the drive features a panelled door with a similar surround and a triple keystone that incorporates a vermiculated centre within the band. Above this, on the first floor, there is a small four-pane casement window. Both the left return wall and the service wing to the right have one sixteen-pane sash window each, with matching surrounds. The service wing also has gable coping with kneelers.

There are two chimneys: one located on the rear wall of the main block and another on the gable of the wing. Extending from the left return wall is a short screen wall that includes a doorway.
