These are two 18th-century buildings on Boroughgate. They are constructed of stone with a stone slate roof and one rendered stack in the centre. The front has two wide windows and a narrower window above a passage doorway on the right-hand side, all with stone architraves. Number 46 has a six-panel door with a stone architrave and a 19th-century bowed shop window. Number 44 has a small 19th-century shop window and a six-panel door with four panes of glass, set within a stone architrave. Numbers 44 and 46, together with numbers 54 to 60 (even), form a notable group.
