Description
This is a pair of cottages located on Baghill Road in Morley, built in the late 18th century. They are constructed from hammer-dressed stone with dressed quoins, and have a stone slate roof. The cottages have two storeys. At the centre, a shared doorway has a flat-arched lintel. To either side of the doorway are single-cell rooms, with a two-light flat-faced mullioned window on the ground floor and a three-light flat-faced mullioned window above. The mullions of the upper windows are slightly recessed. Projecting sills are present on the ground-floor windows. The building has widely-spaced shaped gutter brackets. A coped gable with a brick stack is on the left-hand side, and a brick stack is present on the former gable of the right-hand side. A later addition on the right is not considered to be of particular architectural interest.
