Description
No. 50 King Street is a mid to late 19th-century building constructed of ashlar stone with a hipped slate roof. It stands three storeys tall and features stone brackets supporting the gutter. The building has continuous sill bands and imposts on the first floor. There are six ranges of casements, with segment-headed windows on the second floor and round-arched windows on the first floor, grouped in pairs. Each pair on the first floor is separated by a broad pier that has a moulded impost and plinth. The ground floor has a modern shop front. The elevation facing Zetland Street is a simpler version of the main facade, built from hammer-dressed stone and featuring ten casements.
