Description

Nos 2 and 3 Goldthorpe's Yard are early 19th-century buildings constructed from hammer-dressed stone, featuring a pitched stone slate roof and very tall red brick stacks. The buildings are two storeys high and have a moulded iron gutter supported by stone brackets. No 2 has a range of sash windows and a door with six elaborately moulded panels. No 3 includes a range of bipartite stone mullioned sashes, one first-floor sash, and a door with four sunk panels accessed by five steps. Outside No 2, there is a row of cast iron railings with spear finials, and the yard features stone flags.
