Description

Nos 16 and 18 on Pound Lane are early 19th-century buildings. The front of No 18 is made of brown brick, while the rest is constructed from red brick. They have a hipped slate roof and rendered stacks, and both buildings are two storeys high.

No 16 features two planked doors with semi-circular fanlights, one semi-circular lunette, and one elliptical lunette with glazing bars on the ground floor. It also has a pair of planked double doors with an elliptical head, and on the first floor, there are four sash windows with glazing bars and two tiny sashes.

No 18 has, on the north-west side, one range of sash windows with glazing bars and one part-glazed door. On the north front, it has two ranges of sash windows with glazing bars and one door with six flush panels and a fanlight. The yard in front of No 16 is partially cobbled and partially paved with Purbeck setts.
