Description

The wall of the Rectory Garden, dating from the 19th century, extends from Trinity Lane to the northwest corner of the garden. It includes a 12th-century round arch with zig-zag moulding, which may have originated from a demolished castle or from the nave of Lady St Mary's Church. The wall is constructed of Purbeck rubble and features two ashlar gate piers with moulded coping at the corner with Trinity Lane.
