Description

Nos 61 and 63 on King Street are early 19th century buildings featuring an ashlar front and red brick on the other sides. They have a pitched stone slate roof and rise to three storeys. The buildings have stone brackets supporting the gutter and four ranges of sash windows. The mid-19th century shopfront includes panelled pilasters and large consoles at either end of a modillioned fascia. The rear of the buildings has stone mullioned sashes, some of which retain their glazing bars. On the east side, there is a contemporary door with four fielded panels and three glazed panels.
