Description

1 Wormald's Yard is an early 19th-century building located on the south side of King Street. The front is made of hammer-dressed stone and features a pitched stone slate roof. The building has three storeys and stone brackets supporting the gutter. There is a trabeated archway leading into the yard, which has stone setts underneath. The facade has one range of sash windows and is slightly recessed compared to the surrounding buildings. The rear elevation also has one range of sash windows with glazing bars, along with a continuous vertical staircase window that includes glazing bars. The yard outside is paved with stone setts.
