Description
The canal warehouse at the north end of Aspley Place was built between 1774 and 1780. It is constructed from hammer-dressed stone and features a pitched stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and includes four ranges of two-light stone mullioned windows, some of which have glazing bars. There is also a range of panelled loading doors, accompanied by corbels for a crane located beside them. A shallow gable is present over the central three bays.
