Description

Nos. 5 and 7 on Regent Road are mid-19th century buildings constructed from hammer-dressed stone with ashlar dressings and a hipped slate roof. They stand two storeys tall and feature a moulded eaves cornice and a blocking course. A continuous sill band runs along the building. The first floor has four sash windows with moulded surrounds. On the ground floor, there are two canted bays that have moulded plinths, sash windows, Tuscan piers, moulded cornices, and blocking courses. The entrance includes two three-panelled doors topped with semi-circular fanlights, flanked by three-quarter columns and ornamented brackets supporting the moulded cornices with blocking courses.
