Description

Gill Birks is a farmhouse dating from the early 19th century, with some recent alterations. It is constructed from hammer-dressed stone and features a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and a near central doorway that may have been altered. To the left of the doorway is a former 7-light window, which has one blocked light, resulting in one 2-light and one 4-light window. To the right, there is a 5-light window. On the first floor, there are five 3-light windows. The rear elevation has been altered. An adjacent barn to the left has also been altered and is not included in the listing.
