Description

The gate piers, gates, dwarf walls, and railings to the Church of St. Mary were constructed around 1863. They feature a pair of large square gate piers made of ashlar stone, which are decorated with panels, nook-shafting, and triangular pedimented caps. The heavy cast iron gates have arched rails and dog rails. The railings, which are smaller in size, sit on dwarf walls that are finished with smaller ashlar piers at each end.
