Description

Two attached farm cottages, located in Upper Oldfield, were built in the late 18th and early 19th centuries. They are constructed of hammer-dressed stone with quoins, and have a stone slate roof. The south-east elevation has two bays per cottage, each with an entrance. One cottage has a single 3-light stone mullioned window on the ground floor, while the other features a later 2-light window. Above, each cottage has one 2-light and one 3-light stone mullioned window. The north-west elevation features an entrance in a porch, a later entrance, and two 3-light stone mullioned windows to the first floor.
