Description

A pair of weavers' cottages dating from the early 19th century. They are built of hammer-dressed stone with a stone slate roof. The cottages are three storeys high.

On the south-east elevation of No. 12, there are sill bands to the first and second floors. The ground floor has a three-light stone mullioned window and the entrance. The first and second floors each have a single six-light stone mullioned window, with two lights blocked on each. No. 13 has a three-light stone mullioned window (rendered) and the entrance on the ground floor. The first floor has a three-light stone mullioned window, and the second floor has a four-light stone mullioned window with the centre two lights blocked.

The north-west elevation of No. 12 has a six-light stone mullioned window to the first floor, with the centre four lights blocked. No. 13 on this elevation has a two-light window to the first floor and a four-light window to the second floor, with two lights blocked.
