Description

Nos 38 and 40 on Portland Street are mid-19th century buildings constructed of ashlar stone with a pitched slate roof. They stand two storeys tall and feature a moulded eaves cornice. The facade includes four ranges of sash windows and two doors that are adorned with Tuscan pilasters, a full entablature, and a blocking course.
