Nos 54 and 56 on Church Street are mid-19th century buildings constructed from ashlar stone. They feature a pitched stone slate roof and stand two storeys tall. The design includes a modillion eaves cornice and a continuous first-floor sill. The front facade has five ranges of sash windows.
