Description

No. 116 Fitzwilliam Street is a mid-19th century building constructed of ashlar stone. It features a hipped slate roof and stands two storeys tall. The building has a moulded eaves cornice and a blocking course, with a rounded corner facing Portland Street. There are two ranges of sash windows, with one located on the ground floor that has a moulded surround. The entrance door consists of seven fielded panels and is flanked by Tuscan pilasters, topped with a full entablature. Access to the door is via four steps, and there are cast iron railings with spear finials surrounding the steps.
