Description

Nos 7 and 9 on Beastmarket are early to mid 19th century buildings made of ashlar stone with a hipped stone slate roof. They stand three storeys tall and feature a moulded eaves cornice and a continuous sill on the first floor. The façade includes three ranges of sash windows. There is a door with a fanlight, and above it is a wooden sign inscribed in well-preserved mid 19th century lettering that reads "Armitages" Seed & Bulb warehouse Established 1842.
