Description
A mid-19th century house constructed of hammer-dressed stone with ashlar dressings and a hipped slate roof. The building is arranged over two storeys and exhibits a symmetrical composition centered around a single bay. This bay features a tripartite sash window with a moulded surround on the first floor and a one-story projection with a moulded sash window and a pedimented cornice. Other bays have segmentally-bowed fronts, with windows having moulded surrounds that taper upwards, aprons ornamented with circles in relief, and dentils.
The two bays flanking the central bay project slightly and each contain two window ranges. The following two bays project considerably further, and provide three window ranges each, with a door on the ground floor featuring Tuscan pilasters, a full entablature, and pendant finials beneath the cornice. A tripartite window is positioned above each door. The outer bays set back, presenting two window ranges each.
The garden front features six segmental bays of two window ranges each, separated by very narrow bays of a single window range, except for the central bay, which is broader and contains a single tripartite window surmounted by a pediment.
