Description
No. 23 Byram Street is a mid-19th century building constructed from hammer-dressed stone with ashlar dressings. It features a hipped slate roof and stands three storeys tall. The building has a bracketed and moulded eaves cornice, a blocking course, and a string course. The moulded plinth and rusticated ashlar quoins are present at the ground floor. Each elevation displays six ranges of sash windows, with the upper floors featuring moulded frames, while the ground floor windows have segmental heads, moulded voussoirs, and a continuous impost band. The entrance door consists of four moulded panels and is topped by a segment-headed fanlight.
