Description
Nos. 8, 14, and 16 on Green Balk Lane is a house dating from the late 18th century, with a slightly later addition to the rear right, which is No. 14. The property has been divided and features a mid-19th century outshut to the left. It is constructed of hammer-dressed stone and has quoins. The stone slate roof is adorned with gable copings on cut kneelers and has moulded stone brackets supporting the gutter. The building is two storeys high, with a central doorway that has a later single light above it. There is a three-light window on both the left and right sides on each floor. No. 14 includes a recent porch.
