Description

Heywood Farm is an early 19th-century house, part of a larger farm complex. It is constructed of hammer-dressed stone, with painted and rendered surfaces and quoins. The roof is of stone slate, with a coped gable resting on cut footstones. The two-storey south elevation features, on the ground floor, a single three-light stone mullioned window and a four-light stone mullioned window from which two mullions have been removed. The first floor has two three-light stone mullioned windows, a two-light stone mullioned window, and a single window with a stone surround.
