Description

Nos 21 and 23 Magdale are a pair of cottages built in the early to mid 19th century. They are constructed from hammer-dressed stone and feature a stone slate roof. The cottages have three ashlar stacks, one of which is rendered. The south elevation presents a symmetrical facade with three bays and two entrances. On the first floor, there are four-light stone mullioned windows, while the central ground floor has a similar four-light window, and there are three-light windows on the left and right of the ground floor. There is a later two-storey extension to the rear that is of no particular interest.
