Description
This mid-to-late 19th-century lamp post stands by the west door of the Salendine Nook Baptist Chapel. It is constructed of cast iron and exhibits a highly decorative design. The base is bulbous and ornamented with masks on each of the four cardinal sides. The post itself is elaborately detailed, rising to a hexagonal lamp with ornamental cresting.
