Description

Holmwood is a mid-19th century building constructed of ashlar with a hipped slate roof. It stands two storeys tall with attics and features a modillioned eaves cornice and a continuous first floor sill band. The façade includes five ranges of sash windows, with plain raised surrounds; the ground floor windows have moulded cornices, while the central first floor window has a moulded surround. There is a Tuscan porch that is accessed by three steps, complete with a full entablature and blocking course. The entrance door is round-arched, adorned with a keystone and a moulded surround.
