This is a mid-19th century ashlar colthouse and adjoining property, Glenwood. The building has a hipped roof covered in stone slate. It is two stories high, featuring a moulded and modillioned eaves cornice and a continuous sill at the first floor level. Four ranges of sash windows are set in moulded and shouldered surrounds. A two-story canted bay with sash windows is located at the east end. The side entrance is accessed via double doors with Tuscan pilasters, a full entablature, and a blocking course, with a single sash window above. Two ranges of blind panels decorate the entrance area.
