Description

The River Colne Aqueduct, part of the Calder and Hebble Navigation, was built between 1793 and 1798. It features hammer-dressed stone and has a segmental skew arch. The east side is curved and includes a band, while the west side has coping. There is a parapet on the east side, and a milestone inscribed "1 mile 1848" is located on the east side as well.
