Description

The Scarbottom Aqueduct, part of the Calder and Hebble Navigation, was built between 1793 and 1798 and is located on the Huddersfield Narrow Canal. It is constructed from hammer-dressed stone and features a segmental arch with a curved west side. The aqueduct is adorned with two bands and four pilasters, and it has a coped parapet on the west side.
