Description
These are a pair of late 17th or early 18th century cottages, with an extension added in the mid 19th century. They are built of hammer-dressed stone and have a pitched roof covered in stone slates, with coped gables sitting on cut kneelers. The cottages are two storeys high, with a string course above the ground floor. The first floor has three stone mullioned windows with chamfered mullions, set in recessed, chamfered surrounds. The ground floor of number 64 has two windows of a similar style, one with leaded glazing bars. The ground floor of number 62 has a five-light window of the same design, featuring a transom and contemporary leaded glass.
