Colne Bridge Mill is an early 19th-century building consisting of two blocks arranged in an L-shaped plan. The north-east block is four storeys tall, constructed from hammer-dressed stone, and features a pitched stone slate roof with coped gable ends. It has eight ranges of late 19th-century windows, including three on the shorter sides, and a Venetian window at attic level on the end elevation. The south-west block is three storeys high with attics, also made of hammer-dressed stone and topped with a pitched stone slate roof.
