Description
Northorpe Croft is a detached house dated 1701, located on Northorpe Lane in Mirfield. The building has rendered walls and a stone slate roof with gable stacks, one of which rises from a projecting chimney breast on the left gable. It is two storeys high and features a continuous outshut at the rear. The central doorway has a well-crafted moulded surround, with a single light window above it. The windows have square jambs and double lintels, with some being part recessed and showing traces of hood moulds. There is a 4-light window on the left side of the house on both floors, and a 5-light window on the right side, with a 4-light window above it. Some of the mullions are chamfered, while others are new or missing. Additionally, there is a single storey addition to the left of the main structure.
