Description
This is a range of former barns located at the rear of Balderstone Hall, dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. The barns have been recently altered and are constructed from hammer-dressed stone with quoins and a stone slate roof. The structure is two storeys high and features three 2-light windows and one loading door on the first floor. There is a later doorway on the ground floor, along with a rebuilt elliptical headed cart-entry and additional later openings to the right. At the rear, there is a continuous lean-to outshut. The barns are listed for their group value with the main house.
