Description
The Moravian Church, built around 1880 as part of a Moravian settlement, is a two-storey structure made of red brick with ashlar quoins and dressings. It features a pitched slate roof with gable copings. To the left, there is a single-storey gabled porch with an ogee moulded lintel. On the right, a two-storey gabled wing has a Tudor arched doorway. The first floor showcases a six-light mullioned and transomed window with a traceried head, and an eight-light mullioned and transomed window on the side of the wing, with a cross window above it. Between the wing and the porch are two four-light chamfered windows. The first floor also has three slender transomed lancets with traceried heads that rise above the eaves to form gabled dormers. At the roof's verge, there is a large wooden louvred bell chamber with a sprocketed roof.
Inside, the church features a raked gallery on three sides supported by slender cast iron columns, although the ceiling has been lowered to the level of the gallery.
