Description

Nos. 40 and 42, Dodlee Lane, Longwood, are a pair of mid-19th century stone cottages. They are constructed of hammer-dressed stone with a pitched stone slate roof and coped gable ends. A band runs around the building, and stone brackets support the gutter. The cottages are two storeys high, with four three-light stone mullioned windows on the first floor and two on the ground floor.
