Description

This boundary stone, located 150 yards south of the junction with Riley Lane in Kirkburton, dates from the mid or late 19th century. It is a triangular stone post inscribed on two faces with the words "KIRKBURTON SHELLEY." These words are also presented in larger, later lettering that is arranged vertically.
