Description
The Woodman Public House is a former row of dwellings, with the left section dating from the late 18th century and the right section from the early 19th century. The building is constructed of hammer-dressed stone and features quoins on the left part, topped with a stone slate roof. It is two storeys high.
The left part has a central door, with a three-light window to the left and a four-light window to the right, which has one blocked light and is set within a later open porch. On the first floor, there is a four-light window and a three-light window. The right part has a central doorway, with a two-light window to the left (where the mullion has been removed) and a single light to the right. On the first floor, there is a former eleven-light window that now has five blocked lights, resulting in two three-light windows.
