Description
Nos. 15, 19, and 21 on Cross Lane are former pairs of cottages that have been converted into three dwellings. They date from the early to mid 19th century and are constructed from hammer-dressed millstone grit with a stone slate roof, featuring one remaining ashlar stack. The buildings are two storeys tall. No. 15 originally consisted of a handed pair of cottages, with two central doors and a 3-light window on both the left and right sides. The first floor has four 3-light windows. Nos. 19 and 21 are also handed, each with doorways on the left and right and two 3-light windows in the center. The first floor features four 2-light windows, with the two on the right having once been part of a 7-light window. Both entrances are now sheltered by recent glazed porches.
