Description

This guide post, dating from the mid-19th century, is located at the junction with Riley Lane on the east side of Penistone Road in Kirkburton. It is made of stone and features a bull-nose and rounded top. The post is inscribed in capital letters and includes pointing hands that indicate directions. The inscriptions read "TO HUDDERSFIELD," "TO PENISTONE," and "STICK NO BILLS."
