Description
This boundary stone, located between the parishes of Kirkby Overblow and Rigton, dates from the 19th century. It is made of gritstone and cast iron, standing approximately 40 centimetres high and featuring a triangular shape. The stone has iron plates embedded into two of its sides. The top surface is marked with the initials 'B S', while the left side displays the inscription '(RI)GTON' and the right side shows 'KIRK(BY) OVER(BLOW)'. Additionally, there is a bench-mark on the back of the stone. Currently, the stone is half buried.
