Description
Wood Nook House is a house and former barn dating from the late 18th century, with a later addition to the rear. It is constructed from hammer-dressed stone and features quoins. The roof is made of stone slate and has a double pile design, including the later addition. The gable ends have copings on moulded kneelers, and there are ashlar stacks. The building is two storeys high, with a near central doorway flanked by one 3-light and one 2-light stone mullioned window. On the first floor, there are three 3-light windows, although some of the mullions have been replaced. The former barn to the right has two segmental arched carriage entrances, which have probably been rebuilt.
