Description

The fuel store, located 200 yards south-east of Woodsome Hall, is a small timber-framed outbuilding that likely dates back to the 15th century. The right section of the building is two stories high and features jowelled posts, one intermediate rail, and close studding with lath and plaster infill. It has a hipped roof covered with stone slates from the 19th century and a later doorway on the right side. The left section is single storey and includes some timber posts with stone infill. This part also has a stone slate roof, which is topped with two octagonal ashlar stacks.
