Description
The locker room building, located immediately to the north of Woodsome Hall, is likely a former stable building with accommodation above. It probably dates from the 17th century but has been significantly altered. The structure is made of hammer-dressed stone and features quoins. It has a stone slate roof with hollow chamfered gable copings on moulded kneelers on the west side. The building is two storeys high and has a central carriage entrance with a segmental head, along with a small, blocked entrance opposite. On either side of the carriage entrance are Tudor arched doorways. High up on the building are 2-light double chamfered windows. The left gable has a first-floor entrance with an arched lintel, which is accessed by an external stone stair that has a roll-top coping on its side wall.
