Description

Brearley Bridge, built in 1895, is part of the Calder and Hebble Navigation in Kirklees Cut. It features hammer-dressed stone ramps, a parapet, and cylindrical piers. The bridge has a single segmental span made of steel and is paved with stone setts. There is a plaque that reads "Leeds Steel Works Ltd Builders 1895".
