Description
The gates and gate piers to Kirklees Hall were built in the mid-18th century by Maurice Tobin, as recorded in the Kirklees estate cash book from 1764 to 1771. The structure features four stone piers, a carriage entry with an overthrow, and two side gates. The gates themselves are made of comparatively plain wrought iron, but they include an embellished lock rail.
