Description
The Denby Dale Railway Viaduct is a railway structure built in 1884 for the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway, spanning the valley of the River Dearne. It is constructed from rock-faced stone and features 21 round arches supported by tall, slightly battered rectangular piers. The viaduct has a curving plan and includes later square abutments at each end on the west side, each with two arches.
