Description
10 Carlton Street is an early to mid-19th century building distinguished by its Greek Revival facade. The stone is now painted. The building has three bays featuring a prominent order of Doric pilasters. It has a pedimented blocking on each side and a raised central section adorned with a wreath flanked by consoles. A smaller order of pilasters defines the window layout, although the glazing has been altered. The central entrance remains tripartite and retains a light above it. Nos 4, 6, 7, 8, and 10 form a group.
