Description

This is a barn attached to the rear of Number 16 Little Stubb in Mytholmroyd, dating from the mid-17th century. It features hammer-dressed stone that encases an earlier cruck-framed structure and has a stone slate roof. The barn is T-shaped with one and a half aisles and has a broad gable facing north, characterized by a long sloping roof. There are square-headed cart entries that have been altered on either side, and doorways located in the re-entrant angle leading to the mistals. The barn retains full base crucks with collars.
