Description
The cottage attached to Lightcliffe Royd Farmhouse likely dates from the late 17th century and was altered in the early 19th century. It is constructed from hammer-dressed stone and features a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and consists of two cells. The south front has two doorways with monolithic jambs, and the first floor has two four-light flat-faced mullioned windows with projecting sills. At the rear, there is a two-light double chamfered mullioned window on the first floor and another doorway with monolithic jambs. A stack is located at the junction with the attached farmhouse, which is not included in this listing. Additionally, there is a barn attached to the right-hand return wall.
