Description

Nos 10 to 16 on Chester Road are a row of four substantial Gothic houses built in the mid to late 19th century. Constructed from stone, these houses feature two main storeys, a basement, and an additional storey in a slated roof with gables and stone dormers. The design includes arched doorways and a mix of single and two-light sash windows, with two bays in the centre. This group of houses, which includes Nos 10 to 30 (even) and Nos 33 to 37 (odd), is noted for its architectural significance.
